During the 22nd and 23rd of September 2016 the Fourth Conference of Research and Teaching in Clinical Anatomy organized by the Argentine Association of Clinical Anatomy and presided by Prof. Dr. Edgardo Betucci were held in the University City of Córdoba.

It counted withthe participation of 205 enrolled of which 70 were professionals and 135 students. Round Tables: Teaching Clinical Anatomy in the Undergraduate Program Coordinated by Prof. Dr. Susana Biasutto, Anatomy in Bariatric Surgery Coordinated by Prof. Dr. Edgardo Betucci and Clinical Anatomy of Sports Coordinated by Prof. Dr. Marcos Spinelli. There were five Debate Tables for professionals: Postgraduate in Anatomy Coordinated by Prof. Dr. Susana Biasutto, Management and organization of a Chair of Anatomy Coordinated by Prof. Dr. Marcos Spinelli, Anatomy in the training of the specialist Coordinated by Prof. Dr. Edgardo Betucci, Clinical and surgical applied anatomy Coordinated by Prof. Dr. Carlos Sanchez Carpio and anatomical bases for the maxillofacial approach Coordinated by Prof. Dr. Marcelo Ruggieri; And five Debate Tables for students: Teaching role of the practitioner in the Chair of Anatomy Coordinated by Manuel Olivera, Participation of students in Congresses and Scientific Events Coordinated by Gabriel Ceccón, Cadaveric Dissection Coordinated by José Zurita, Who knows about writing and scientific publication ? Coordinated by Sofía Reviglio and Resources for the study of Anatomy Coordinated by Federico Siris.

The activity of the Argentine Chapter of Anatomy and Developmental Biology «New Paradigms in Teaching and Research» was developed with the presentation of Prof. Dr. Ana Patricia Fabro, Prof. Dr. Sergio Tamayo, Prof. Dr. Maria Elena Samar Prof. Dr. Rodolfo Avila.

A total of 41 free papers were presented orally, being selected for the award for Best Scientific Paper: «Making anatomical models as a tool for the teaching of morphological sciences» of the authors Gomez, María C; Fontao, Fernando M; Marmorato , Ailín, Domenech, Pilar. The Evaluation Tribunal was composed by Prof. Dr. Eduardo Olivera, Prof. Dr. Gustavo Otegui and Prof. Dr. Manuel Brahim.

The National Meeting of the Commission for the Proceedings of Corpses of the AAAC, presided over by Prof. Dr. Sergio Tamayo, took place, where it approved the formation of the Committee for Procurement and Donation of bodies and tissues for Teaching and Research. On the other hand also approved the formation of the Committee for the accreditation of Postgraduate in Anatomy, Histology and Clinical Embryology and was proposed to Prof. Dr. Sergio Tamayo as delegate of the IFAA.

All the activities were developed in a timely manner with a high scientific level emphasizing the spirit of mutual respect, the intention to orient the anatomy for the postgraduate and to continue working together to grow this subject in the framework of the Association. At the end of the Conference at the closing ceremony we enjoyed the performance of 3 lyrics by a practitioner of the chair of Normal Anatomy of the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the UNC Mr. Gastón Pedernera and gave gifts to foreign guests Prof. Dr. Eduardo Olivera, Prof. Dr. Armand Ugon of Uruguay and Prof. Dr. Joao Toledo Neto of Brazil, consisting of a book of the Museums of the National University of Cordoba. Finally, and as it was established, the AAAC Ordinary General Assembly was held.
